For authors — How to Publish with Us
From first submission to final publication, this guide walks you through each stage of the editorial and production process at Inquantio.
Publication Process
Prepare your manuscript
Follow the Submission Guidelines to prepare your manuscript, cover letter, and supporting materials. Ensure figures are at publication quality and data are deposited in an approved repository.
Create an account and submit
Register as a Journal Author and submit via the submission form. Confirm the submission is original, all authors have approved it, and declare any competing interests.
Initial editorial assessment
An editor assesses your manuscript for scope, quality, and completeness. You will receive a decision within 5 working days. Manuscripts not meeting standards will be returned at this stage.
Peer review
Your manuscript is sent to at least two independent expert reviewers. The review process typically takes 3 to 6 weeks. You will receive reviewer reports and an editorial decision once review is complete.
Revision (if required)
If revisions are requested, prepare a point-by-point response to reviewers and resubmit within the stated timeframe: typically 60 days for major revision, 30 days for minor.
Acceptance
Upon acceptance, you will receive a formal acceptance letter. For APC-applicable article types, an invoice will be issued at this stage.
Production and proofing
Your article enters production. You will receive a typeset proof within 5 working days of acceptance. Please return corrected proofs within 48 hours.
Online publication
Your article is assigned a DOI and published online immediately under CC BY 4.0 as a fully open-access article.
